Winter Pop-Up Event: Emergency Preparedness, Efficiency, and Sustainability

Austin Energy, Austin Water, Austin Resource Recovery, Austin Watershed Protection, and the City of Austin Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management are coming together to help customers with emergency preparedness, efficiency, and sustainability this winter.

Information, demonstrations, and giveaway items will be offered at the City of Austin Utilities Customer Service Centers North and South locations on December 10 and 11, 2024.

· Learn how to stay safe during a power outage and get a free SOLAR PHONE CHARGER from Austin Energy.

· Get a free WATER SHUTOFF KEY or INSULATED FAUCET COVER to help you prepare for freezing temps and avoid property damage from Austin Water.

· Get ideas for dealing with winter emergencies from the Austin Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management and start building your emergency preparedness kit.
