Who We Are:

Formerly known as Solid Waste Services, Austin Resource Recovery provides residential curbside collection of trash, recycling and yard trimmings in the City of Austin. Additional services include sweeping streets, collecting dead animals, operating a drop-off center for household hazardous waste and collecting bulk items and large brush.

MoveOutATX helps students easily donate items they no longer need at convenient drop-off locations around West Campus. This program works with reuse groups to keep gently used items out of the landfill during the student move-out season.

Seven pop-up donation stations will be open daily July 27-31 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Community members can donate items like gently used furniture, housewares, appliances, clothing, arts and crafts supplies, nonperishable food items, hygiene products and cleaning items.
