Meet the City Manager Candidates

City of Austin is hosting a public event to introduce the candidates for Austin’s next City Manager.
Austinites are invited to meet and hear from the two finalists for the Austin City Manager position on Monday, March 25.
The two candidates under consideration, T.C. Broadnax and Sara Hensley, will be introduced at the Permitting and Development Center, 6310 Wilhelmina Delco Drive. The event begins at 6 p.m. and doors will open to the public at 5:30 p.m. Free parking will be provided at the adjacent parking garage, which can be accessed from Wilhelmina Delco Drive, Middle Fiskville Road or East Highland Mall Boulevard.
As part of the City Manager recruitment process, we are asking our community to provide questions ahead of the Meet The Candidates session on Monday, March 25, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. at the Planning and Development Events Center, 6310 Wilhelmina Delco Dr, Austin, TX, 78752. These questions will be reviewed, and a few will be selected to ask the candidates live.
Basic timeline:
- Wednesday, March 20 – deadline to submit questions to SpeakUp Austin
- Wednesday, March 20 – deadline to ask for any other language for interpretation
- Monday, March 25 – Meet the Candidate at 6 pm
- Tuesday, March 26 – closed interviews with City Council
- TBD – Candidate feedback survey
