I am thrilled to invite you to our upcoming public safety community meeting. This gathering will be held at the Jollyville Fire Department at 9218 Anderson Mill Road on Wednesday, October 4, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Also, please remember that these meetings will be held on the first Wednesday of each month.
The core focus of these meetings will evolve around matters about public safety, a subject of utmost significance for all of us. It is an excellent opportunity for you to have your questions addressed and let me know your concerns.
I am happy to inform you that our upcoming community meeting will feature 3-1-1 and 9-1-1 communications representatives. They will provide invaluable insights into the difference between the two important emergency services and guide us on when it is appropriate to dial 3-1-1 versus 9-1-1.
This meeting is open to the public and current and future Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) members.
