National Wildlife Federation's South Central Regional Center in Austin invites you to become a Habitat Steward volunteer!Austin is the largest metropolitan area in the country to receive the designation as a Community Wildlife Habitat™ by the National Wildlife Federation (NWF). This success was possible because of people like you, who make an effort to create native wildscapes at their homes and in public places and volunteer to teach and assist others as Habitat Stewards. Become an important part of our city’s efforts to Keep Austin Wild!Habitat Stewards training is engaging, fun and highly informative! During your 30+ hours of hands-on training, you will meet local conservation professionals and other similarly interested folks.
