City of Austin Career Expo

The annual City of Austin Career Expo will be held on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Palmer Events Center, located at 900 Barton Springs Road.
The Career Expo provides an excellent venue for companies to find talent to fill open positions. The goal is to showcase employment opportunities in our community for active and passive job seekers. Last year, more than 100 businesses, organizations, and City of Austin departments participated, and support from Austin businesses helps make this event successful each year.
Job seekers of all ages, backgrounds (including justice-involved individuals, veterans, and people with disabilities), and levels of experience are welcome! We encourage you to bring multiple resumes and dress for success. To improve your chances of landing a job, take advantage of our showcase sessions, and don’t forget to visit our complimentary professional headshot station, which is available to event attendees on a first-come, first-served basis.
