The People’s Hearing is your chance to share your vision for a clean, healthy environment in Texas.
The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) is undergoing Sunset Review at the state legislature. It’s like a performance review of the agency that is supposed to protect our air, land, and water. State lawmakers are holding a single public hearing on the TCEQ in Austin on June 22.

The People’s Hearing is an opportunity for you to share your vision for how the TCEQ can work for us. Is there pollution in your community? Did you neighborhood fight a pollution permit, and lose? Tell us your concerns and let us know how you would like the TCEQ to work on your behalf. We’ll record your comments and submit them into the official record of the Sunset Advisory Commission.
