    • Love Letter to Bugs: beauty and importance of ants, bees, and wasps in Austin and beyond!

    We are honored to host guest speaker Jen Schlauch! Schlauch is a researcher interested in ants, bees, and wasps. She studies symbiosis, ecology, and how to use mixed media art to communicate scientific topics and the beauty of the natural world to all audiences in a way that is exciting and accessible. She graduated from UT Austin in 2019 and is currently climbing trees in the rainforest of Costa Rica to study insects!
