Student Climate Action Lobby Day
April 5, 2021
Join students from across Texas in a virtual lobby day of the Texas Legislature. We’ll advocate for climate solutions and a clean energy future.
On April 5th, we’ll do virtual briefings on the science of global warming, the solutions, and the bills currently under debate in the Legislature. We’ll also hold a training on how to lobby.
On April 6th, we’ll set up zoom calls with your state Representatives and Senators and pair you with other students and an experienced advocate to back you up. You’ll tell your legislator why you care about climate change and why they should support bills to promote wind and solar power, electric vehicles, walkable and bikeable neighborhoods, and more.
