Orchestral rock group Montopolis will present their multimedia concerts “The Living Coast” and “The Legend of Big Bend” in a live stream performance live from the North Door and streamed exclusively on the Long Center’s Facebook page.

“The Living Coast” is a nature film, storytelling, and live music performance that explores the Texas gulf coast. Narrated by environmental scientist Megan O’Connell and accompanied by director Anlo Sepulveda’s stunning video of the Texas Coast.

“The Legend of Big Bend” performance weaves history, poetry, and personal stories into music inspired by the land. Actor Jared Austin narrates the journey accompanied by the breathtaking photography of Chirstopher Zebo.

Led by composer Justin Sherburn, Montopolis features members of the Austin Symphony Orchestra and Austin’s best rock musicians performing with an environmental scientist and cowboy poet. The show is a love letter to the Texas landscape as well as an opportunity to discuss broader environmental challenges.
