NPCA’s Park Talk series is a new way for park advocates to stay informed and engaged in the most important issues facing America’s national parks.

Please join us for this special online event featuring Fort Davis National Historic Site.

What does it mean to advocate for the national parks? Join us as we unveil threats to our Texas national parks, how park advocates have successfully protected them and how you can turn your love of national parks into action.

Imagine taking a lantern tour of Fort Davis, looking up to see the stars and instead being confronted by a condominium development. NPCA is dedicated to preserving and protecting the natural and cultural heritage of America’s national parks, but we cannot do that without park lovers and advocates like you. Alan Spears will unveil threats to national parks and how NPCA has been successful in protecting these special places — like the viewshed at Fort Davis — and what you can do to help.

You can RSVP here.
