NeighborWoods 500 Tree Adoption at Austin Discovery School

Join us at one of our FREE tree adoption events at Austin Discovery School! Trees reduce energy bills, increase property value, clean the air and water, prevent soil erosion, provide wildlife habitat, and are the easiest way to combat climate change.

Trees are subject to availability. Below is a list of the tree species we’ll be adopting out:

Large Stature:
Live Oak
Cedar Elm

Medium Stature:
Chinquapin Oak
Anacua

Small Stature:
Mexican Buckeye
Yaupon Holly

Fruit:
Peach ‘June Gold’
Pomegranate ‘Salavatski’

Trees are available on a first-come, first-serve basis and we will distribute one tree per person. Please bring a Photo I.D, Austin Energy Electricity Bill, or Austin Library Card as proof of residency.

Our NeighborWoods program is brought to you in partnership with Austin Energy and the Community Tree Preservation Division, TreeFolks is giving away 500 free trees to Austin Residents and Austin Energy Electricity customers.
