Workshop: Stranger Trees and Tree ID Walk

Missed our first workshop? No worries, this is our second and final FREE educational workshop of the season!

Come and experience the urban forest of Austin in the first half of this event through an expert-lead tree-tour through the woods of the Pease Park. This tour is designed for the general public and will teach you about Austin’s trees, ecology, and ethnobotanical history.

Stick around after our Tree Trek for a more in-depth exploration of Tree ID through TreeFolks’ own Central Texas Tree Key. You will learn the basics of tree ID and practice on some notable species with expert help.
