Tree I.D. Workshop: Introduction to Urban Forest Stewards

TreeFolks and Shoal Creek Conservancy are partnering to bring this Introduction to Urban Forest Stewardship Tree ID Tour and Tree ID Workshop.

Come explore the urban forest with TreeFolks Education Coordinator Collin McMichael and Shoal Creek Program Coordinator Maria Darr.

Maria will start us off with a discussion on Shoal Creek Conservancy and how they act as stewards of the creek, and then Collin will lead students through the trail on a guided tree tour. After a brief break, anyone interested in learning the nitty-gritty of tree ID is welcome to stick around as we break out the Tree Keys and learn how to identify notable Texas natives!
