Where: AquaBrew in San Marcos, TX. An amazing brewery and venue with an outdoor stage and a mission to protect the water they use from the aquifer to brew their beer, some of the cleanest water on the planet!

What: We’ve gathered an amazing list of local talent and artists collaborations to make this possible! We are so grateful to have such an outstanding community of artist willing to use their platforms to promote environmental stewardship and activism. From the tattoo artists featured in our raffle to the music to the live painting we intend to highlight how local artists are choosing to make a positive impact! We are stronger together!

5 pm- 5:50 pm Bill Oliver is a local Austin music legend and a water warrior who’s been volunteering his songs of humor and wit and advocating for the protection of Barton Springs since the 80’s and beyond we are so excited to welcome him to open our night. Don’t miss his super high vibe performance sure to make your laugh and smile. Barton springs eternal!

Raffle Items: Raffle tickets (available for purchase at the door only) will be $2/ticket to save paper.
Raffle items include a tattoo from Pinky Rae valued at up to $100 for a single smaller tattoo or $100 towards a larger piece. Also artist prints from local artists TBA, a custom wire wrapped necklace, two $25 gift cards to P-Terrys for all your veggie burger needs, and so much more!

Why: The Edwards Aquifer needs your help now more than ever! Kinder Morgan, the company behind the Dakota Access Pipeline at Standing Rock, is planning to build a natural gas pipeline right through Austin, San Marcos, Blanco, and Wimberly, TX. Right through the sensitive recharge zone and the karst of the aquifer itself! This means a spill or explosion, which happen regularly on pipelines and are we argue a question of when not if, could contaminate Jacobs Well, Barton Springs, Blue Hole and Spring Lake and the drinking water source of over 3 million people! So what are we going to do about it? The Wimberley Valley Watershed Association is working to file a law suit against Kinder Morgan to force them to conduct the necessary environmental impact study under the Endangered Species Act. But, that costs a LOT of money. So how can you help? Buy a raffle ticket or 30, enjoy a beer, and come dance to headlining musical acts from Austin and San Marcos.
