The Ford Mobility City:One team is hosting Innovation Networking Events for East Austin community members, entrepreneurs, architects, urban planners, designers, and others to learn more about the City:One Austin Challenge and how to submit a proposal to improve mobility and healthy living in Austin for up to $100K in pilot funding. All finalists will receive up to $2,500 stipend to refine their ideas.
We’re thrilled to be co-hosting this event with Mama Sana Vibrant Women, a local community organization that works to facilitate access to culturally appropriate and quality, prenatal and postnatal care for women of color in Austin and Travis County.
Join us on October 10th at the Pan Am Recreational Center to hear from the City:One team about the Challenge, the research they conducted on mobility and healthy living in Austin’s eastern neighborhoods, and collaborate with others in the community on ideas for improving mobility around the city. With $100K available in pilot funding, we’d love to hear your ideas on the Challenge Website!
This is a free event that is open to the public. Light refreshments will be provided. Please RSVP to attend due to limited capacity.
