Join us for a relaxed membership event at the Little’ Darlin’!
Bring your kids, bring your dog, bring your best friends. Get to know some like-minded neighbors, learn about how you can get more involved, and kick back in one of South Austin’s most relaxed outdoor locations.
We’ll talk about it all – hiking, climate change, and making a difference.
We’ll have membership information so you can renew (or join us for the first time!), and we’ll also have brief educational information on the proposed Kinder Morgan pipeline passing through central Texas.
Don’t live close to south Austin? Have no fear! We will be hosting more membership events like this in other areas of Austin over the next few months and try to keep a local flavor to it each time we meet. So if its too far for you to make next time, then save the gas and we’ll see you in your neck of the woods soon!
First round of appetizers are on us. See you there!
About the Sierra Club:
Founded by legendary conservationist John Muir in 1892, the Sierra Club is now the nation’s largest and most influential grassroots environmental organization — with more than two million members and supporters. Our successes range from protecting millions of acres of wilderness to helping pass the Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, and Endangered Species Act. More recently, we’ve made history by leading the charge to move away from the dirty fossil fuels that cause climate disruption and toward a clean energy economy.
