Sponsored Post – from the Austin Parks Foundation
Have a park in your neighborhood that you think could use a little TLC? Now’s your chance to actually do something about it.
The Austin Parks Foundation is currently accepting applications for its Community Grants and Neighborhood Grants programs.
What are those?
- Community Grants – intended for physical improvements, including park amenities, environmental restoration, and construction ($5,000 – $50,000).
- Neighborhood Grants – intended for smaller-scale projects and amenities such as benches, picnic tables, trail repair, or tree planting ($500 – $5,000).
These grants are ideal for groups that participate in the Adopt-A-Park program, as well as neighborhood associations, and other park stakeholder organizations.
Anxious about putting together your application? The Austin Parks Foundation is hosting a “Grants Info Session” on Wednesday, April 25th from noon to 1pm at the Terrazas Branch Library in east Austin.
The deadline to apply for these grants is April 30th. You can apply for a Community Grant here. And you can apply for a Neighborhood Grant here.
