Citizens’ Climate Lobby is a national organization focused on passing legislation called Carbon Fee and Dividend as a solution to climate change. All chapter meetings gather at 11:30AM, listen to the national call-in speaker, and plan upcoming actions for the month until 1:30PM. TX-10 (McCaul) and TX-17 (Flores) Chapter: Austin Central
Join us for the monthly Citizens’ Climate Lobby group meeting for Austin’s TX10 chapter. While we are a non-partisan organization, we do want to hear from candidates about climate change. This month, we’ve invited the candidates to come talk about their thoughts on climate, and Mike Siegel has confirmed that he will be attending! The meeting will be at the Clubhouse in The Triangle development. Feel free to bring along refreshments or snacks to share.
We’ll meet in the Triangle’s Club Room, using the same entrance as the leasing office.
We’ll begin to gather at 11:30 for refreshments and socializing, and view the CCL national call 12-12:45.
Q & A with Mike Siegel will begin at 12:45
