From the Save Barton Creek Association –

SBCA is happy to announce our adoption of a portion of Barton Creek for Adopt-A-Creek! This is a program by Keep Austin Beautiful and the Watershed Department to keep citizens involved in the protection of our waterways by adopting a stretch of a creek for 2 years.

Our portion of Barton Creek is from the 360 entrance to the Spyglass entrance. We’d like your help to make this commitment a success!

We had a successful cleanup on September 30th, starting with a small portion of the creek. Join us as we continue cleaning another portion of the trail and creek. We keep a decent walking pace, so it feels like a hike. But, we are also helping keep the trail clean!

PLEASE BRING:

  • Water
  • Sturdy shoes
  • Work gloves

**If you are sensitive to poison ivy wear long pants. **
