Dove Springs Neighborhood Cleanup

Dove Springs community members and local firefighters are gathering to clean up the community near Mendez Middle School. Folks are eager to improve the beauty of the area in preparation for the River City Youth Foundation 9th Annual Father’s Day Parade to happen the following week.

Clean up includes three main activates:1) bulk trash pickup (couches, broken furniture); 2) small trash pickup along the upcoming parade route and E. Stassney from Pleasant Valley to I-35 and around Mendez Middle School and phase 3) moving along the parade route.

The firefighters will have four fire trucks at the River City Youth Foundation from 1-3 and will lend some muscle with the bulk items. Hope you can join and help make an immediate change to brighten the area near the middle school.
