From the University of Texas Plant Biology Center –

What do the fruits of tropical trees have to do with the fancy feathers, songs and dances of tropical birds? A lot according to ecologists! Join the UT Plant Biology Department at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center Sunday April 2nd for science activities at 1pm and an all-ages talk at 2pm about the interesting lives of tropical birds! Dr. Bette Loiselle, a tropical ecologist and professor from the University of Florida will be visiting Austin to share insights from her research about the behaviors and mating displays of birds that live in the rainforest.
