Big Day in the Park

Commons Ford Prairie Restoration Organization and Austin Parks and Recreation Department have joined with other organizations and agencies including Balcones Canyonlands Preserve, Austin Parks Foundation and Travis Audubon Society to develop and implement a native prairie restoration project in a 40 acre section of the park. The project involves removal of invasive species and replacement with native grasses and wildflowers. Join us for our “Big Day in the Park” fundraiser to assist with this important project.
