Next week is the last week before the coal ash hearing!

The EPA has introduced two rules to regulate the storage of coal ash. There’s a good one, and there’s a bad one. We’re going to make sure that the EPA hears loud and clear from people all over that we want a good, STRONG rule for coal ash, requiring permits for dumping coal ash, lining coal ash dumps, covering coal ash dumps, groundwater monitoring, and ensuring that if the…re’s a coal ash spill, coal companies cover the cost.

So join efforts with the Texas Sierra Club to encourage members of the Texas community to show up!
