Learn to harness the healing power of a plant-strong diet with Dr. Dane Mosher and Chef Priti Bhatt of West Holistic Medicine.

Discover the many health benefits of eating the rainbow! Join Dr. Dane Mosher and Chef Priti to explore how phytonutrients – the naturally protective chemicals found in plants – support good health and why going organic doesn’t have to break the bank. Among the colorful recipes made in class will be a delicious, phytonutrient-rich, mixed berry Kanten dessert and a Kale-Currant Salad with Miso Lemon Dressing. Participants will leave class with insights into nutritional approaches to healing, and inspiration and tools needed to go green!

Dr. Dane Mosher is a family physician and a certified practitioner with the Institute of Functional Medicine. In his practice, he finds and treats the root causes of acute and chronic illnesses, including auto-immune diseases, allergies, gastrointestinal disorders, fatigue, thyroid disorders, and cardiovascular disease.

With training in both nutrition and the culinary arts, Chef Priti provides nutrition consultations and teaches healthy cooking skills that help develop lifelong skills for maintaining good health.

Classes are for adults; teenagers may participate with a parent or guardian present.
