Austin’s big event starts today. That means there will be a lot to see and do as SXSW takes over the whole city. Here are some eco-related events to keep you eye on.

- The Seer – film screening of the new documentary, “The Seer,” which focuses on the life of Wendell Berry, environmental activist and writer; Saturday, March 12th from1:30pm to 2:50pm at the Stateside Theatre
- Robot Cars and Sharing: Road Rage or Smooth Sailing – panel discussion on self-driving vehicles and car sharing; Saturday, March 12th from 3:30pm to 4:30pm at the Austin Convention Center
- Fighting Wildlife Crime with Tech Innovation – panel discussion on Sunday, March 13th from12:30pm to 1:30pm at the JW Marriott
- Engage, Educate, and Act to Reshape Eco-Diversity – panel discussion featuring Huston-Tillotson students and the Sierra Club’s Dave Cortez on Monday, March 14th from 9:30am to 10:30am at the Hilton Austin Downtown

- Films for the Forest – free film screening with the Rainforest Partnership on Sunday, March 13th from 3pm to 7pm
- SX Create – free expo filled with 3D printing demonstrations and creative technological innovations of all types; runs from Friday, March 11th to Sunday, March 13th at the Palmer Events Center
