From TreeFolks

For this Tree ID hike, we will be teaming up with Save Barton Creek to hike on the new Violet Crown Trail. TreeFolks tree identification workshops, walks, and hikes aim to teach you how to identify the trees that you see around you every day. In our tree identification activities, we’ll discuss trees common to central Texas, species diversity, wildlife habitat, and tree anatomy. No two tree ID workshops are alike and no matter how much you already know about trees, you’re sure to learn something new each time!

If you would like to attend this free event, visit our website at www.treefolks.org/tree-id.

Plan on wearing good shoes for walking. Bring a water bottle and a hat.
