Last year’s event at Hops & Grain was such a hit we decided to do it again! Join us on the 17th of February for our next Green Drinks happy hour, this time with Richard Thornton of Patagonia as our speaker. He’ll speak with us about his experience in the grants and outreach department of Patagonia.
Richard Thornton, environmental grants and outreach coordinator at Patagonia in Austin, has BA in Environmental Geography from The University of Texas at Austin. Richard has worked on conservation efforts in Utah with the Escalante River Watershed Partnership which was recognized by the Department of the Interior as one of “America’s Great Outdoor Rivers” restoration projects, in Southern Chile with Conservacion Patagonica in the future Parque Nacional Patagonia and locally with the Balcones Canyonlands National Wildlife Refuge.
