Specialty Crop Listening Session
Tuesday, May 25, 2010, 9–2:30 p.m. 

Farmers & consumers are encouraged to participate in this listening session to discuss the need for extension for small farmers and the much needed research into organic production systems.  NAREE’s Specialty Crop Committee will be developing a final report to be submitted to the Secretary of Agriculture and Congress.


Come take part in the discussion with your comments and help support the concerns of our local agriculture.

OBJECTIVE: To interact with industry and state representatives, national organizations or institutions, local producers, researchers and educators or other groups that are interested in the issues with which the Specialty Crop Committee is charged.
