07 Apr Fantastic Rebate Offers to Residents from Texas Energy Office
The Texas State government is launching a short-term rebate program to encourage upgrading old inefficient house appliances with more energy efficient versions. If you purchase a high efficiency appliance this April 16 through 25th the savings could be significant. If you wish to participate you will need to act tomorrow. Rebate funding is limited and will be awarded on a first come-first served basis. This is a state-wide program, so the $23 million dollars will be going to people all around Texas.
The program offers generous rebates for the following appliances:
· Refrigerators
· Freezers
· Air Conditioners
· Clothes Washers
· Heat Pumps
· Hot Water Heaters
Eligible for the rebate program are high efficiency Energy Star appliances, so not only will you get an applicance for up to $250 off but you will also dramatically reduce your energy use with the new appliance! Not only that, the State will also pay you an additional $75 to have your old appliance taken away and recycled! Talk about money for nothing!
Starting on Wednesday, April 7, 2010* at 7 a.m. CT, reserve a rebate from this Web site: http://texaspowerfulsmart.org/ rebate/appliances.php, or by calling toll-free 1-877-780-3039.
Demand is expected to be high and rebate reservations are expected to run out quickly.
