What is it about human behavior that causes us to ignore the realities of our changing environment and other aspects of sustainability that affect our lives? How does the brain work when it comes to understanding what is happening in the world around us? These and other questions will be explored by Two Guys on Your Head, Dr. Art Markman and Dr. Bob Duke, along with KUT Radio’s Rebecca McInroy.
The talk will be presented live on the campus of UT-Austin at Bates Recital Hall, in the Music Building (MRH), from 7:00 PM to 8:15 PM Central.
The interactive Community Science Fair will also be in the Music Building, right outside Bates Recital Hall, from 5:45 PM to 7:00 PM Central. There will be stations of hands-on activities and information about sustainability, including solar toys and appliances, composting, and much more!
Can’t join us in person? Tune into our live webcast beginning at 7:00 PM Central and ask Two Guys on Your Head questions live! For more information on upcoming or past talks, visit www.hotsciencecooltalks.org.
