Stop the Double Decker Tolls Roads over Lady Bird Lake!
Come out this Saturday, May 2nd at 10:30 a.m., Roberta Crenshaw Pedestrian Bridge (under Mopac) to help STOP the proposed Mopac/45SW loop and the proposed Double Decker Toll Roads over Lady Bird Lake.
The toll road authority plans to build FOUR TOLL LANES on MOPAC from Cesar Chavez to Slaughter Lane, including a double-decker bridge over Lady Bird Lake & Zilker Park with a flyover next to Austin High School. Their plan will expand MoPac to 12 lanes! (IH-35 has 8)
