In this class, SFC Market Vendor, Hat Creek Pickle Company, will show you how to make sauerkraut. You will learn the stages of fermentation, troubleshooting common problems, and how to store your pickles when they are ready. A quart-size jar and an air-lock pickle cap are included in the price of this class, so you can take your sauerkraut home with you and watch it ferment!
A portion of this class will be active, so please dress for the kitchen (closed-toe shoes, comfortable clothes that can get a little dirty, hair tie for long hair, etc.).
