19 Nov Media Coverage Of The New Book “Eating Animals”
Have you heard about Jonathan Safran Foer’s new book? It’s called, simply, Eating Animals. It deals with both the ethical and environmental consequences of eating meat. Normally the media ignores a book like this. But because the author is so highly regarded, the media has been paying some attention.
As Foer and others have noted, animal agriculture is the leading cause of global warming. Factory farms are also the biggest source of pollution in our country. The simple fact is, you can’t be an environmentalist and eat meat. Al Gore, who does eat meat, is a giant hypocrite.
