Our guests will be from the Texas Interfaith Center for Public Policy:

Yaira Robinson, Associate Director, holds a Master’s in Theological Studies from Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary. She is a 2012 GreenFaith Fellow, part of a national network of leaders from different faith traditions who are committed to caring for the environment. In 2012, Yaira became a member of the Siach network; the Siach program brings Jewish social justice and environmental leaders from the U.S., Europe, and Israel together for ongoing connection and collaboration. Yaira has 2 young sons and a 1-eyed pug.

Rev. Sam Brannon will update our listeners regarding the new Water Captain Program and other exciting water initiatives they are implementing.  Rev. Sam joined the Texas Interfaith Center staff in July of 2014 to focus on our Water Captains Program, as well as Texas Interfaith Power & Light. Sam is a Texan and calls Austin his home. That aside, he has travelled abroad all over Asia, the Middle East, some of the African continent, all over the United States, and some of Mexico. Currently, he lives in Georgetown with his wife Emily and their children, Clara (9) and Stella (6).
