Join the Coalition of Austin Community Gardens for Rainwater Harvesting at Community Gardens, part of a series of panel discussions for community gardeners!
Learn and share insights with panelists and fellow community gardeners to help harness that precious (and often scarce) resource, rainwater, at your community garden. Panelists include:
-Dani Slabaugh, Yard to Table Gardens
-Zach Herigodt, Yard Farm
-Matt Macioge, Consortium Lumina and Sustainable Food Center
Directions & Parking Instructions: SFC is located near the MLK MetroRail stop at Alexander St. and E. MLK Blvd. Heading east on MLK, take a right at the flashing yellow light at Alexander. You’ll pass the MetroRail station and will see People Fund up ahead. SFC’s building is directly behind People Fund. There is plenty of free parking around the SFC building.
Also look out for details about the next discussion, Functional Group Dynamics toward Fruitful Community Gardens, to take place in July!
Join the Coalition at our regular meetings the 3rd Monday of each month from 6:30-7:30pm at Sustainable Food Center
