Wildfires are a fact of life in Central Texas, but it doesn’t mean we are powerless against them!
We have solutions you can use to live in harmony with our fire adapted ecosystems. Our homes and communities don’t have to be destroyed by wildfire.
The Austin Fire Department, in partnership with the Joint Wildfire Task Force, invites you to attend the first annual Wildfire Community Preparedness Day to give you tools you can use to win the fight against wildfire!
Doors open at 9am, so come early to check out exhibits and grab your free Emergency Preparedness Kit!
