Green Your Transportation
Join us for an engaging symposium with four experts on sustainable transportation.  

How does one green their transportation in 2014? Join host Joep Meijer (president, TheRightEnvironment.net; chair, ClimateBuddies.org) as he helps us understand what ‘s to be gained by mitigating tailpipe emissions and facilitates deeper discussion around opportunities currently available in Austin. John-Michael Cortez (community engagement manger, CapMetro.org) will help us understand Austin’s public transportation offerings and take a survey about your views for future services. Jenn Cregar (sustainability manger, GreenMountain.com) will help us understand how to offset air travel and other emissions through informed use of carbon offset products. Zach Baumer (climate protection program manager for the City of Austin) will educate us on what the City is doing to green its fleets and how you can take advantage of incentives for purchasing low and no emissions vehicles.
