CleanTX Talks: Carbon Capture

CleanTX and UT Austin's Energy Institute invite you to join us for CleanTX Talks with guest speaker Tim Dixon. Mr. Dixon is one of the world’s foremost experts in Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) and currently serves as Manager of CCS and Regulatory Affairs for the International Energy Agency of Greenhouse Gas Research. Joining us from the UK, Mr. Dixon will speak about CCS as a new technology, the need for it, and the issues CCS has faced in international regulation. He will also address Texas and what role UT can play in the international arena.

The event is sponsored by Skyonic, an Austin-based company that just broke ground on a $126 million carbon capture facility at a cement plant in San Antonio.
