We will be projecting the film "Gasland" in preparation for our upcoming "DON'T FRACK WITH US" action. We will also be making the signs for the action.
It's a bar, so you can kick back and relax for a bit as we've all been working real hard on changing the world!
Good time for fun and camaraderie. There will be non alcoholic beverages available.
Feel free to bring some grub, order a pizza, or check out the food truck, Lucky's Puccia.
We'll be networking and making lighted signs like the one in the picture above
Location: Tiniest Bar in Texas @ 817 W 5th St

We all know how disastrous fracking (hydraulic fracturing) has been on Texans' water, land, and air quality.
But did you know that Austin Energy is looking to add an additional 1,000 megawatts of natural gas into this Summer's energy generation plan update? (click for background info)
Yep. So we thought we'd invite you to join us for some fun with fracking education. Our friends with the Austin Overpass Light Brigade have organized 2 events to help educate others and yourselves about fracking and the need for more renewable energy in Austin. The first is the one above, to make the signs and watch Gasland 1.
The second:
Tuesday, January 21st, 6pm
Overpass Light Brigade "Don't Frack With Us" Sign Holding
Help us get some honks & thumbs up as we hold signs on the sidewalk
Location: 11th Street & I-35 overpass
(park at Mexitas or Travis County Credit Union)
Both events are free!
