From the tree bark that fights cancer, to the astonishing crest of the Andean cock-of-the-rock, to the understory coffee that ripens more slowly and tastes better – the Amazon rainforest is full of untapped treasures. Our work at Rainforest Partnership is to help rainforest communities develop these resources in a sustainable way. Many rainforest communities want our help for an alternative income to other, forest-devastating choices.

Your support for the Rainforest Partner Fund goes directly into developing and expanding the sustainable market for rainforest goods and services, so that it’s more valuable for the rainforest communities to keep the forest standing than to cut it down. They get an income—from eco-tourism to making and selling artisan goods–and they get to protect their forests. For themselves, and for all of us everywhere.
