Come out and Celebrate Austin’s First Annual ATX Loving Day Celebration.
Loving Day fights racial prejudice through education and builds multicultural community.

Richard and Mildred Loving took on the state of Virginia,in Loving v Virginia 1967, for the right to be married. At the time, mixed race marriages were not only “controversial”, they were illegal. Their fight for Racial Justice ended with the Supreme Court over turning this law, declaring it unconstitutional.
Every year on June 12, Celebrations are hosted around the world in their honor. This day is Loving Day. Austin will be joining the pioneers around the globe with our very own ATX Loving Day Celebration. We’re honored to have the beautiful Mercury Hall as the home for the Event, where we’ll come together to share ideas, dance and enjoy local eats and libations. $10 Suggested Donation.
