Volunteer This Saturday

Travis Rebel Edible Garden Party, May 18

The Travis Rebel Edible Garden is near completion for the semester, but we have one final volunteer day left. We'll be putting the finishing touches on the section of garden we've been building all semester. Then, we celebrate!

This time, we have a shortened work party, then relax in the garden with lunch prepared by the Travis High Culinary Program. Join us to repair the pond, finish mulching the food forest, broadcast black-eyed peas, re-plant the sweet potatoes, and tidy up. Our labor will be immediately rewarded with lunch and a toast to our good work!

We want to thank all previous volunteers and show off how far we've come this semester. So, please make plans to attend!

WHEN:     Saturday, May 18, 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
WHERE:   Travis High School, 1211 E. Oltorf (corner of Oltorf & I-35)

**Please note the later start time and be sure to R.S.V.P. so we know how much food to provide!
