Urban Farm Code Update: Public Session #3 Byproducts, Environmental Health and Sustainability

Save the date! WEDNESDAY, May 15th, everyone is invited to the third working sessions about updating Austin's urban farm code.  We will be discussing: Byproducts, Environmental Health and Sustainability.

Please join us at the meeting room at Fiesta Gardens, at 2101 Jesse E. Segovia St right near Lady Bird Lake, from 5pm-7pm. This session is hosted by the the "Urban Farms – Process and Code Coordination" working group of the Austin/Travis County Sustainable Food Policy Board. The working group was formed to update the City of Austin's urban farm code to improve upon existing code in a way that meets the needs of communities, farmers, and regulators in the interest of a healthy, safe, sustainable, and just food system for all of Austin.
