Join us at Rain Lily Farm on MARCH 23RD from 12-4pm for a Fais DO-DO (pronounced fay-dough-dough)!!! This throwdown will host the Gulf Coast Playboys (1pm until 2:30pm) on the music stage and feature a free bloodymary station with local fixins, along with free locally brewed beer while supplies last!! The gumbo cook-off will be a blast, as all walks of gumbo cuisine will be on show for prizes granted by folks from the food community as well as folks from "down the bayou" in southern Louisiana. Come out to the farm and party down with us while the Gulf Coast Playboys turn up the accordion, the chefs try and make their mark, and the drinks are on us!!! Part of the proceeds will benefit Urban Roots, a great youth development program that uses sustainable agriculture to transform the lives of young people and increase the access to healthy food in Austin! The event is presented by Farmhouse Delivery- the only TRULY Texan local produce delivery company which supports OVER 30 small Texas farms each month! Prizes include a 4 week subscription and membership to Farmhouse Delivery among others. Prizes for the best of each category and also the grand prize "People's Choice" award which all the Tasters will vote on!
