It’s a party, we hope you’ll join us! The event is FREE, but please RSVP at txcc.eventbright.com.
Central Texas has been good to the Environmental Corps. We’re proud our 16 year record of engaging young people in service and job skills training in conservation. We’re growing, we’re changin’ our name to the Texas Conservation Corps and throwin’ a party to celebrate! Please join us for a live show with Shelly King, Lisa Morales and Robyn Ludwick and enjoy food and drinks courtesy of our generous sponsors: Johnny Carino’s, Twin Liquors, Real Ale Brewing Company and Sweet Leaf Tea. We’d also like to thank Antone’s Record Shop and Ranch Road Printing for their support!
We welcome you to join us anytime from 5:30-9:30. At 6:00, we’ll hear from community partners and staff about the Texas Conservation Corps past, present and future. Music will start at 6:30. Parking limited, please carpool.
Texas Conservation Corps (TxCC) is a program of American YouthWorks that empowers youth and young adults through conservation education, service and job skills training. Hands-on, skill-based projects in parks and preserves put young people in front of the serious problems of the region and ask them to be the solution. While successfully education, training and producing the next generation of leaders in the field, TxCC engages youth as a powerful resource in the conservation of the natural landscape of Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Arkansas and Louisiana.
