Greenling Local Food Tasting Soiree/Best of Austin Bash

We’re combining our Tasting Soiree with a Best of Austin Bash. We just won ‘Best Local Food Company’ in the Austin Chronicle’s Reader’s Poll for the 3rd year in a row so this will be a special party (check it out here – http://www.austinchronicle.com/gyrobase/Awards/BestOfAustin?Year=2009&BOACategory=Food%20%26%20Drink&Poll=Readers )-

Local Food Hybrid-Potluck – You’re welcome to bring something, but you don’t have to. All dishes made with at least some locally produced, organically grown food.

We’ll get a local chef to prepare some dishes with in-season Greenling Organic products and invite Greenlings to prepare their own, too. This soiree will feature primarily cocktail food and appetizers.

The group will decide which ones get to go in the Greenling Central Texas Seasonal cookbook (name to be improved later) and the creator will get featured in the book.

So bring your best recipes and let Greenling make you famous! Or just come and enjoy a party.

There will be live music and some great dancing by Go Dance (http://www.godancestudio.com).

We’ll also have some Greenling beverages and spirits, desserts, and some great company!
