SUMMARY:Code Advisory Group Meeting: Public Comment
DESCRIPTION:Do you have questions about CodeNEXT? Do you want to share community challenges or opportunities CodeNEXT can address? The CodeNEXT Code Advisory Group wants to hear from you. At this meeting\, the public is invited to speak in order for the CAG to know what is on your mind regarding CodeNEXT. Please note that speakers have up to 3 minutes. It would also be great to conclude your comments with one sentence that captures the intent of your comments. Click here to view the agenda.\n\n\nWhat is CodeNEXT?\n\n\n\n\nCodeNEXT is the new City of Austin initiative to revise the Land Development Code\, which determines how land can be used throughout the city – including what can be built\, where it can be built\, and how much can (and cannot) be built. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe process is a collaboration between Austin’s residents\, business community\, and civic institutions to align the city’s land use standards and regulations with what is important to the community. \nThis initiative to revise the Land Development Code is a priority program out of Imagine Austin\, the city’s plan for the future adopted by City Council in 2012. \nTo learn more\, be sure to check out our CodeNEXT EcoNetwork podcast>>
