Then please join us to learn more. \nThis session is open to all who are interested in learning more about Vision Zero\, from transportation planners or engineers to public health professionals to policymakers to community advocates for transportation safety.  \nThis session will cover the basics to help you better understand the principles of Vision Zero and whether to consider if this approach may be a fit for your community\, whether local or regional\, urban or rural\, big or small. If you’re already active in Vision Zero and want to introduce key partners to the concept\, this is also recommended. You can register for the webinar here. \nAbout Vision Zero: \n102 people died on Austin’s roads in 2015. Almost a third of them were pedestrians or bicyclists. In response to this growing crisis\, Austin launched the Vision Zero initiative\, which commits the city to eliminating all traffic deaths and serious injuries by 2025. Vision Zero is a proven\, data-driven approach to reducing transportation-related injuries and saving lives that has been adopted in cities around the world.
