A look at the challenges\, the successes and the collaborations in the industry. \nPanelists \nChelsea Connolly IIDA Assoc\, WELL AP (SKG)\, Sarah Hoover (City of Austin Resource Recovery)\, William Stockton (Austin Habitat for Humanity Restore)  \n \n\n\nThis educational session is eligible for 1 CEU AIA/HSW/SD (approval pending). \n\nLearn what the circular economy is and how building design has a role in it.\nLearn how to donate\, shop\, reuse\, and divert—helping move forward with zero waste.\n\nLearn the impact designers\, product manufacturers\, and buildings have on rising CO2 levels and the effect it will have on our cities and health of our people and planet.\nGain insight about how the two largest green-rating systems\, LEED and WELL\, are leading the movement for healthier design will be shared.\nUnderstand the importance government plays in the new buildings that are accepted in our cities\, leading to advocacy for government to have a bigger role and raise the quality standard of new buildings.\n\n\n\nA buffet lunch is included. \n \nTickets can be purchased here.
